On Sunday, the Ukrainian military’s Strategic Communications Directorate (AFU Stratcom) reported that its forces had launched a strike on the building of the hospital of a former-machine building plant in the Russian-occupied town of Kadiivka, around 30 miles south of Lysychansk.
AFU Stratcom said the former hospital had been housing Russian soldiers, particularly those linked to Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, who has criticized Moscow’s war commanders.”

Zelensky starting a big purge of corrupt Ukrainian officials right now. Looks like CIA gave Zelensky names and an ultimatum. Tank deal most likely tied to the anti corruption purge.
Purge also a sign US and NATO will strongly support Zaporizhzhia and southern Kherson offensives to cut off Crimea and Putin’s land bridge.
How is he supposed to get rid of Andrei Yermak, his boss?

It also doesn’t mean that Russia has to permit what Estonia may want to do. It’s one thing to say “ships can’t pass here without inspection” and quite another to enforce the inspection. Russians have quite a large submarine fleet, and could easily sink Estonian Coast Guard vessels interefering with their ships on the high seas.
Just because some Estonian has a bright idea, doesn’t mean it will be implemented, or that it will work.
From the maps, looks like RuZZia is destroying the cities in the purple area Yanukovych won.

Update on Russian-Ukrainian conflict for January 23, 2023
- Russian forces are reportedly advancing in Zaporozhye while Ukraine continues losing ground around Bakhmut;
- Russian pushes in Zaporozhye could be (1) recon in force, (2) extending existing security zone ahead of actual Russian front line or (3) spoiling attacks on forces assembling for a future offensive;
- Ukrainian losses are severe and Reuters is reporting on supposed warnings by the US to Ukraine about going on the offensive; - Weapon shipments have been announced for Ukraine including a significant US DoD package, as well as all of Denmark’s Caesar self-propelled howitzers and all of Estonia’s FH-70 towed howitzers;
