Is Hunter ratting out his father and protector, the only man who can grant him a presidential pardon? Hmm...that's a real puzzler. I'm going to guess...no.

Seems highly unlikely.Hunter's smart enough to know that Rat Party Headquarters will protect him in order to protect The Big Guy...and Heels Up. IMO the worst case scenario here is that Hunter refuses to obey subpoenas,or appears and develops Biden amnesia...with the knowledge that he can always depend on a Presidential pardon if the bleep really hits the fan.

Hunter knows he's as safe as a kitten...and The Big Guy would know (if his brain wasn't dead) that the worst thing that will happen to him is that he won't be the nominee next year.

But one thing bothered me — why didn’t Joe Biden’s lawyers destroy the documents?

Who says they didn't?

Why assume that the documents that they turned over were ALL of the documents found?

Hillary Clinton turned over 33,000 emails but said she deleted 30,000 more.

I've come to the conclusion that Biden's lawyers did the calculus and concluded that it was better for Biden to take the rap on mishandling (and possibly destroying) classified documents than what would happen if the contents of those documents were revealed.

I believe the documents that were turned over are a ruse to provide the cover of cooperating. The incriminating stuff is long gone.

Hunter does come off as someone bitter, with a bit of a persecution complex in his emails. Lots of family resentment there.

You’d think he would know that dad is still his meal ticket, and not want to upset that, but he is a drug addict, and drug addicts can’t be counted on to think clearly. And they will betray and rat out anyone when backed into a corner.

Which is why you wouldn’t want to use a camera. Because then you no longer have plausible deniability.

Take the docs and you can just say “oops I forgot I brought some homework home and forgot to bring it back”. Sure, it’s still a crime, but not a crime you will get prosecuted for if you are a Democrat. Start snapping pics on a camera and you are getting charged not just with mishandling documents but with espionage.
