Below is a pic that BeauBo posted earlier that shows the latest as of 1330Z 1/13/2023.
Also noted in the pic is a strike using a Tochka-U ballistic missile, killing 100 Wagner personnel.
Would be great news if true.
“Reports that Wagner lost more than 30% of their army in the past week in the area (Soledar).”
I thought that Wagner had about 50K personnel (about 40K convicts), so 30% in a week would be about 2,000 per day. 500 killed and 1,500 wounded per day for a week would be within the realm of the possible.
Russia’s total prison population is about a half million, but that includes, juveniles, women, pre-trial confinement, etc.. I’d guess the core long term convict population they might recruit from, would be around 100-300K. With 40K already taken, and massive death rates among them, it will be interesting to see how many more they can recruit, or if they have already tapped out that resource.
“Russia’s economic war with the West looks set to claim a much smaller toll on Europe than the brutal recession many economists warned about just months ago”
Russia’s economy and Government budget however, are still heading to take big hits.

BREAKING:
A major explosion has just destroyed the Amber Grid pipeline connecting Lithuania with Latvia and Estonia.
Free Tatarstan! We officially recognize its independence.
“Kazan is the name of a city in RuZZia.”
Actually, it is in Russian occupied Tatarstan (Tataria)
(Financial Times, https://www.ft.com/content/d66c61e8-8511-459a-9116-70703ff2471f ): “As one official from Tatarstan’s government-in-exile recently said: “Our struggle for independence has not yet started.”...
...This time may be different. Not only have these colonised nationalities watched the Kremlin’s pledges of federalism evaporate yet again, but western governments are more willing to recognise Russia for what it is: an unreconstructed empire, bent on reclaiming former colonies and adding them to the pile it still controls. Any movements emerging in opposition to this Russian colonialism are increasingly worth supporting...
...The west must, then, be ready for what comes next, including a possible Soviet-style disintegration. The historian Michael Khodarkovsky wrote in 2016: “We should not be taken by surprise if one day Russia itself implodes, as the [USSR] did.” All empires eventually splinter apart. Thinking Putin’s — and Russia’s — will be any different is just another failure of imagination.”
“Berlin will make a decision (on supplying Leopard 2 tanks to the Ukraine) before a meeting of senior defense officials from allied nations at the American airbase in Ramstein on Jan. 20, according to a German official familiar with the plans, who asked not to be identified because the matter is confidential. US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and his German counterpart Christine Lambrecht will also meet in Berlin the day before.””
That is probably why Lambrecht is resigning - wouldn’t free the Leopards.
War is upon us Christine - Lead, Follow, or Get the hell out of the way!
Correction: 30% irretrievable losses for Wagner in past month, not past week. According to General SVR Telegram reporting today.
30% of 40,000 convicts. More from behind the lines strikes.
Breaking: 36 cruise missiles launched from Black Sea fleet right now heading towards Kyiv and western Ukraine.
More Russian war crimes
