You are embarrassing yourself because you refuse to accept any evidence to the contrary, the UF basketball player which I provided the video of, is a perfect example of cardiac arrest and the game continuing.
Heck, when I was in High School I played football, after the season started between games one week we had a player collapse, rushed to the hospital and died, we practiced the next day and played that Friday night. He was determined he suffered from cardiac arrest due to a heart deformity he was born with.
Here is a list of athletes who have died suddenly some during games and some later.
Bottomline I’ve seen someone die on the field.
LOL- evidence?? What, from links?? You don’t even comprehend what you post:
“Heck, when I was in High School I played football, after the season started between games one week we had a player collapse, rushed to the hospital and died, we practiced the next day and played that Friday night.

He didn’t “die on the field,” he died in the hospital. Did he suffer cardiac arrest in a game or at practice?? What year was it
There’s absolutely NO comparison between players who broke there necks and what took place last night. Stingley, Utley, Bryd were all conscious and alert immediately after their injuries. Hamlin was minutes from death last night.
But I’m sure you’ll attempt to comeback with some asinine reply.
Re: 60 - Interesting. Looks like they will play the game after the end of the regular season.
LOL- and btw- as per Keyonta Johnson- please shopw me where they were performing CPR on him on the court or had to use a defibrillator- I’ll wait.
“The game continued even after administrators gave the Gators the option of stopping the game, but players at the time reportedly told coach Mike White that they wished to continue playing.”
I agree. This makes total sense.
These guys are all playing the most violent contact sport outside the boxing/martial arts sports with a realistic possibility of severe injury and death. The spotlight has been on head injuries as of late, but the introduction of helmets adds to the risk of heavy blows to any part of the body. Does this injury occur, as well as fewer blunt force trauma injuries, if the game was played without helmets? I think not, and tackling would be more skillful and as we see in Rugby.
Strangely enough you left out the Keyontae Johnson episode, he passed out on the court from cardiac arrest and nearly died, the game continued, and I provided a link to the event.
In my case the event happened in the mid-70s, we lived in a rural farming town with no paramedics, by the time the EMTs got there he was dead from a heart defect, we didn’t know that at the time.
Here is a list of players who died during their career, look at the ones who dies in game, a couple from neck injuries, ie. broken necks.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_American_football_players_who_died_during_their_careers
Google European Soccer players who have died in the last couple years from cardiac events during games or practice.
All you have provide is insults without knowledge or evidence which I have provided.
When the insults start is a sure sign of argument lost.
BS play the game tomorrow.....
BS play the game tomorrow.
He collapsed due to myocarditis. A cardiologist was on the sidelines and treated him.
Here is the article

Again you are talking about something you are ignorant of
I saw several soccer players drop dead well before COVID.
Since both teams REFUSED to play, make them both down for losses.
Exactly, this type of thing has happened before, it’s rare by it does happen.
In most cases the games have continued.
Feel for the kid but not having watched a game in years that is about my only concern.
They cancelled the games for 9/11 and JFK assassination. I don’t remember if they actually made those games up.
At this point I see the league calling the game final after 9 minutes with Cincinnati the victor or the cancel the game and Buffalo and Cincinnati only have 16 game 2022 seasons or they move the playoffs out a week and game is resumed as only week 19 game and Superbowl stays with no off weekend before it.
1st of all 🙏🏻 prayers to Damar Hamlin and his family.
This whole situation is horrible. Neither team probably is in the right state of mind to play the game this.
Football is a brutal sport.
It’s always been a sport of the ”NEXT MAN UP”
I hope they do what is best for both teams without it affecting the other teams in the AFC.

That’s not the way to resolve it because it affects all the other teams in the AFC. That would be unfair. Why not give them all Super Bowl rings or participation awards.
