“Does it dry you off too?”
Some do, but they require electricity. I’m not sure I want my toilet electrified. A little paper to dry off is all. I use maybe 10% of the paper I once used, and it’s a much cleaner feeling. Really, if you got poop on any other part of your body would you just wipe it off with some paper? Once you try a bidet you won’t want to go back to the old way.
You are correct. Those mills use a lot of natural gas.
Plus their internal costs are going up.
Ripple effect of this admin’s extensive spending and fouling up the oil and gas industry.
The paper machines for TAD have earthquake vibration auto shutoff valves on the main gas feeds because a break in the lines could take out an impressive area. Almost like a MOAB.
That’s just on the TADs, not even including the steam boilers.
I used to sell equipment into mills that made paper towels in Louisiana. Cool to see how whole tree trunks get turned into paper towels. Like watching the show “How it’s made” everyday.
Port Hudson?
I agree!...Yrs ago an old Hippie friend of mine asked me...Why would you smear poop all over your ass....He lived on his fishing boat and had rigged up a fresh water kitchen spray faucet to his salt water flush ...and it was at a perfect temperature ... Learned alot from that old guy...
GP in Zachary. And a lot of other mills in Texas and Louisiana.
