Well, Rerun's last name would also be Van Pelt, but we don't know what his real first name was (only Lucy's nickname for him).
Franklin showed up in the comic strip Curtis last week to tutor Curtis. (Nearly all of the characters in that strip are black, but there is an air-headed white kid who appears once in a while.)
