His name is Yevgeny Nuzhin. He was sentenced to 24 years in prison after he killed a man in gang fights in 1999. In summer 2022, Nuzhin entered the Wagner ranks.

He reportedly escaped from the front and voluntarily surrendered to the Ukrainian military on September 4, 2022. Nuzhin managed to become famous in Ukraine after he gave interviews to Ukrainian media. The former prisoner claimed that he initially planned to enlist in the PMCs, and then deserted to the Ukrainians.

Wagner’s successes on the battlefields are the result of strict rules and full confidence in the ranks. That’s why there are no Wagner fighters among the prisoners of war in Ukraine. None. Allegations that there are, are utter BS. Wagner Group is elite in the PMC community for a reason - strict adherence to the code, the rules, the creedo.

Drone food. Yum, yum.

Even the vaunted US sent NASAMS could not hit one drone.
It was good at hitting an apartment complex though.......

The UK announced it is sending more Brimstone surface or air launched ground attack missiles.

More Brimstones...I wonder how successful the previous Brimstones have been.

The missile has 2 warheads...a first stage warhead and a main warhead. If an armored vehicle has reactive armor, then the first stage will trigger the reactive armor then the main warhead will send spall fragments into the interior, killing the occupants.

When launched from the ground, Brimstone 1 missiles have a range of 7.5 miles and Brimstone 2 missiles have a range of 25 miles.

Hopefully, UKR is getting Brimstone 2 missiles.

Here's some deep guesswork:

Virtually all of the recent "Droned" videos have been against soldiers in trenches or foxholes. Perhaps the Russians are deploying their tanks 4 or 5 miles behind the FLOT and using them as short range artillery. This would keep them outside range of the drones.

This is where Brimstones would be used. Also, this is where MQ-1C Gray Eagle drones would be useful in locating the tanks.

BeauBo...thanks for the ping.

The Wagner Group warned the Ukies in Bakhmut...

And now even the US military is acknowledging he high losses of the Ukies near and in Bakhmut.

“US military recognized the high losses of the AFU near Bakhmut

Today,Ukrainian public figure Olena Galushko reported that AFU began to lose about 250 people in the Bakhmut area. These words confirm the American edition of the New York Times.

“Despite the fact that they celebrated successes elsewhere, Ukrainian forces in one small eastern city are being ruthlessly attacked by Russian. And the struggle for its retention is only intensifying,” the publication reports.

Also “PMC Wagner” chief Yevgeny Prigozhin commented on the storming of Artemovsk today:

“Bahkmut is a large, well-fortified area with roads, suburbs, and water barriers. The Ukrainian army is well-prepared and offers decent resistance.

Our task is not Bakhmut itself, but to destroy the Ukrainian army and reduce its combat potential, which is extremely positive in other directions, which is why this operation has been dubbed the “Bakhmut meat grinder.”

In this regard, do not run ahead of the locomotive, we will let you know, happiness loves silence”

https://www.nytimes.com/2022/11/27/world/europe/ukraine-war-bakhmut.html NYT reports on the losses of AFU soldiers, naming a figure of 250 wounded per day.”

Wagner is another RuZZian joke.

There was a posting a few weeks ago saying the average Wagnerite lasts 6 days on the front lines before being killed or wounded.

"You mean a Wagner Group sledgehammer presented?"

Yes. The sledgehammer in that photo has "Wagner" written on it (Kind of looks like the English letters BATHEP), and it is in a violin case, like the old mafia movies where the gangsters gun was hidden in one (Prigozhin, like Putin, is a long time member of the mafia from St. Petersburg).

Reportedly, right after the European Parliament voted to declare Russia a terrorist state, Russian hackers reportedly attacked their website (Prigozhin also famously runs the Internet Research Agency of hackers and disinformation workers). Then he was reported to have sent a sledgehammer (no doubt referring to the recent video of a sledgehammer murder of a reported PMC Wagner member who switched to the Ukrainian side).

I found a report in the Jerusalem Post (https://www.jpost.com/breaking-news/article-723234), that reported this delivery, and included the picture you posted, along with the following text from Wagner's Grey Zone (thru Google Translate):

"Yevgeny Prigozhin on behalf of the Wagner Group handed over the information case to the European Parliament Earlier, politico asked Yevgeny Prigozhin whether he had heard about the initiative of MEPs to call on the European Union to recognize the Wagner Group as a terrorist organization, to which he replied the following: "Today I held a meeting with the commanders of the Wagner Group, where I told them this sad news... From today, we have decided to declare the European Parliament dissolved. But before this procedure comes into force, I am instructed to transfer an information case to the European Parliament." Prigozhin fulfilled his wish, and handed over for the representative of the European Parliament a kind of "information case", which outwardly resembles a case for carrying a musical instrument, but it does not contain a violin... However, I can't say what the content might mean. This is the first time I've seen something like this."

Really out front with the full on mafia posturing.

“Perhaps the Russians are deploying their tanks 4 or 5 miles behind the FLOT”

That would be consistent with the lower tank losses, and higher troops losses this month - sending Infantry forward with little to no Armor support.

Always interested in your analysis.

The message was sent and that is all that matters, as the Ukies are finding out in Bakhmut.....

“The message was sent and that is all that matters”

I think that the way people (politicians) in the West will take that message (the bloody sledgehammer, is as an open admission of brutal criminality - an unrepentant confession.

It starkly burns the bridges to any kind of negotiation. No longer any “Grey Zone”, but clearly black and white.

Do you really think that the Wagnar Group or the Chechans care what or how something is going to be viewed by the people in the West?

SMO ‘denazification’ was pretty black and white to me, as was ‘demilitarization’ of Ukraine....

“Do you really think that the Wagnar Group or the Chechans care what or how something is going to be viewed by the people in the West?”

Actions create effects.

This very brutality and lawlessness is what caused the West to unite with Military support and sanctions, and what has prevented Russian victory. No one wants to live under such a demonic culture.

@wartranslated

Day 276, November 26th. Summary of Arestovych and Feygin daily broadcast, kindly brought to you by Atis, @savaadaak:

“Russian Army restoration (force generation from September’s mobilization) is expected to be completed in January/February.

When restored Russian units will fail, Russian has no further options. Their negotiating will be about capitulation then. Soon after that, there will be unconditional capitulation.
As soon as Ukrainian forces will reach Crimea entry, the Kerch bridge will be in the HIMARS range.

Any supply ships and aircraft will be in the range too.
It will all start with the evacuation of FSB and officials, which is about to happen sooner than expected.”

My comments: Although Russia can continue waves of mobilization, they cannot endlessly equip them with heavy weapons.

They can wreak havoc for the next 3-6 months, and inflict a lot of death and destruction - even possibly capture some miles of land. But they cannot win militarily at this point, unless the West abandons support of the Ukraine. After another 6 months like this, their conventional Military equipment stocks should be significantly expended.

Send more Artillery!

Finland knows Winter warfare. Along with the other Nordic Countries, they have been helping to train and equip Ukrainian forces for the cold.

Mud season is nearing its end in the Ukraine, as daytime temperatures in the North will start to be freezing this week, opening the possibility of more maneuver operations.
