The Florida Democrat "voters" will be back in 2024.
Another reason the Dumbs “pulled out”, if that’s what really happened, is that they simply couldn’t gin up enough fraudulent voters, with the controls in place, to beat DeSantis. Polls had him ahead by about 15 points, and he won by 19 points. If the cheats had been in place, what would have happened, a win by 10 points?
Trump still won the state in 2020, and the next Republican, if he’s not a complete establishment scum, will win Florida in 2024.
A thought: It took DeSantis only 4 years to flip Florida from a purple State to a red one. What’s to say that a Dem Governor couldn’t flip it to blue in 4 years? My reason to want DeSantis to continue as Governor and solidify the gains that he’s made.
Right.
One of you Show-Me staters told me about that - that's the Vote Fraud Rosetta Stone - the disappearing Democrats in Missouri from 2008 to 2012.
Zerobama lost Missouri by less than 4,000 "votes" in 2008.
In 2012, 258,000 Democrat "voters" went AWOL in the presidential "election" in Missouri.
I suspect the national DNC vote fraud machine decided to spend the money elsewhere...
Exactly.
They spent the vote fraud money elsewhere - as we can see.
Yes, Governor DeSantis would have won Florida anyway.
The Democrats are smart - don't throw good money after bad.
They'll be back in 2024, though. Unless they don't need Florida.
It’s $30 to $50 per created vote.
Yes, I agree.
I think mistfree's post #24 hits the nail on the head.
Think Wretched wHitler in Michigan.
She's taken 3 "election" cycles to turn Michigan dark blue - when it's a red state.
I'd have to agree with that.
I didn't use to think about that until I realized that the Democrats pulled all those "voters" from Missouri in 2012.
Then, it made sense - spend it where it does the most good.
The democrats are going to need new new money sources for 2024.
“That was certainly some of that. Democrats crossed over to vote for DeSantis, also. But is it really ALL that was?”
No. As previously mentioned democrats reregistered as republicans and independents. Independents shifted red and remaining dens were demoralized.

As a black candidate for Governor, Gillum generated enthusiasm among blacks, which the white Crist could not. In addition, the Democrats in Florida rely on GOTV drives in the black community. I have seen these in operation, with calls from the pulpit to vote, church picnics functioning as bring your ballot rallies for Democrats, and with buses and vans to the polls for early voting.
That takes cash -- cash for access and workers, cash for food and refreshments, and cash for buses -- and with an organization to make sure that all the pieces work properly and the work gets done. With the Florida Democratic Party in protracted decline at the state level, there is no central early source of cash and organizational help so the entire Democratic GOTV mechanism fell into disrepair at the state level.
This thesis could be tested by collecting and analyzing the precinct level registration, turnout, and vote totals in the key counties. If the decline in the Democratic vote was concentrated in black precincts, the thesis ought to be taken as highly likely.
Mail-in BS has to stop.
The more data we have, the better picture that we can form about this.
This collapse was not in evidence in 2020 in Florida, but the Republican turnout still beat the Democrat "turnout".
We'll see if the Democrats even need Florida n 2024, as some people have been saying that the Democrats have got 270 in the bag with all the other rigging in 2020 & 2022.
I'll ping you when I post up the 2008-2018-2020-2022 Florida county vote tables in the next couple of days.
Hi.
Florida doesn’t have mail in balloting. Florida has absentee ballots. Big difference.

Sure, Jan.
51% of voting was Absentee ballots? If true that is crazy

"This COMPLETE collapse was not in evidence in 2020 in Florida"
Because you are correct - disrepair and collapse of the GOTV machinery are quite evident in these numbers.
I'd like to do a precinct level analysis of the states eventually, but my "by county" stuff seems to be illuminating the big picture for now.
"By precinct" would be the way to go, but the states don't have data tables that easily match up. Some do, but not all.
