I can't stress this enough: at its core, Democratic politics is about criminalizing opposition to their party and ideology

Pastor preached on this today: James 3:13-18

True Wisdom Comes from God
13 If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom. 14 But if you are bitterly jealous and there is selfish ambition in your heart, don’t cover up the truth with boasting and lying. 15 For jealousy and selfishness are not God’s kind of wisdom. Such things are earthly, unspiritual, and demonic. 16 For wherever there is jealousy and selfish ambition, there you will find disorder and evil of every kind.

17 But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere. 18 And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness.

Rat wisdom is as far from God’s wisdom as it gets. It is, as James says, the path to disorder and evil of every kind.

And, Glen, I can't stress enough that Trumpist populism is the best emetic to cram down the throats of libtards at every opportunity.

That's where there's a weird disconnect with people like Greenwald. They understand that the Democrats are now a serious threat to our Constitutional Republic. But in all likelihood he would never vote for Trump or any other conservative.

Democrat politics not democratic politics. Democrats are anything but democratic.

Agree...I've used nothing but truth to induce liberal associates to see the damage their votes have done. It's usually a waste of time. They never provide counter arguments that make any sense, and they almost never change.

Liberalism is an affliction. I avoid talking to progs whenever possible.

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear.
They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home — all the more powerful because forbidden — terrify them.
A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

Began with John C. Calhoun, who said “We have a right to own our slaves, and to own them in peace” (i.e., free of any criticism at all).
