True anecdotal story I heard. The editor (Dave Marsh) and a couple of other guys from Creem Magazine I knew personally were in Dallas once. They got turned around and went up to a resident and asked “We’re mixed up now. Which way is Dealey Plaza from here?” “Oh, you mean where they shot that bastard Kennedy? Right over there.”
