This is wonderful news. After losing $1500. a month in higher prices for gas and food, Joe and Nancy sold the family jewels for peanuts and put bugs in our breakfast bar to save us $100. a month. They must really care about the American people.
You just know that brandon will take credit for this so-called ‘raise.’ But it had nothing to do with him. We all should be thanking OPEC, at whose mercy brandon has put us once again. (/s)
You’re wrong. His policies have brought on recession which brings on belt tightening which brings on decreased demand which brings in increased supply which brings down prices. OPECs additional supply was a drop in the bucket. As was Joes release of the strategic reserves.
Rent, which is a major part of monthly expenses, is still pretty high.
What the heck does that mean? Who invents these stupid new definitions of words? Why not use a perfectly good existing word?
Why am I always the last to know about this stuff?
And the chocolate ration has been increased to 20 grammes per week!!! We have always been at war with East Asia.
I wasn’t being completely serious, as I was signaling with the ‘sarcasm off’ tag at the end of my post. I would never seriously suggest that Americans should be thankful to OPEC for anything. And I am fully aware of supply & demand dynamics. But since you took the trouble to tell me I’m wrong, please educate me. I’m curious to know how you know that the promised 50% increase in supply from OPEC didn’t or won’t have a significant effect on petroleum prices.
Unfortunately their increased output really only offset issues with exports from other oil producing nations. Opec did agree to another 100k increase when Biden visited which was viewed as a joke.
People are just driving less…. Imho.

Can you show me the net increase had an effect? If anything the fear of chinas economy imploding pressures increasing prices more than the increased quotas.
Perhaps we can agree they’ll all have an effect. My point is a recession is a sure fire way to lower it. So good job Brandon.
The REAL story here is that CNN still has 59 MILLION knuckle-dragging low-IQ followers.
LOL.
So there’s this guy in the Bronx who for months has demanded from me to pay him $300 a month for protection. That sucks, I don’t need any “protection.”
Then the guy comes to me and says you ONLY have to pay me $200 a month for my services.
The guy’s name is Sonny Corleone. He expects me to thank him for the “raise.”

Well, that won’t last long. The environ-MENTAL-ists just got a bunch of oil leases in the Intermountain West suspended due to some gobbledygook about not considering carbon impacts, as well as concern over some animal nobody cares about. So in order for the leases to go forward, a (new) EIS will have to be done regarding the dangers of plant food to the planet caused by the leases.
F that. I’m expecting $5/gallon by New Years (after election is over).
You can than Senator John Cornhole and those other Repubicans who helped put that gun control bill through the Senate. No conservative wants to support that crap. There are people on here who say we're actually better off having a Democrat in some seats because of these RINOs.*
*Although they might change their minds once the famines and purges really get under way.
Only a liberal would be stupid enough to fall for that.
No, I can't. And I wasn't trying to make that case. I didn't even realize they had agreed to increase production at all because of Brandon's visit. I thought they had told him to go pound sand, and they were near capacity anyway. So I was a bit surprised to read that they have promised a 50% increase in production.
I will agree that the price increase on just about everything will offset a lot of travel budgets. Therefore, less demand increases supply, and prices fall. So the left has no business crowing about it. But they will anyway.
Government cuts trillion dollar wasteful spending plan by 10%, taxpayers get a 100 billion tax cut.
