Enough to form a fair opinion. I would not comment on it otherwise.

Gottcha. I just curious if it was a whole episode or more. Now the 9th Commandment comes to mind.

The Chosen has gotten many people to pick up the Bible for the first time and many others to pick it up again for the first time in many years. I cant see how that is a bad thing. The series does an amazing job depicting the humanity of the the principles. The Romans, Apostles, and Pharisees were all human and flawed. That makes the whole story very relatable to us today. What amazes me most is that it shows humanity hasn’t changed much in 2000 years. Our technology has gotten pretty spiffy but we have evolved very little.

If you don't agree with my opinion, I can live with that. If you think my facts are wrong on something, please show me. If you're going to groundlessly imply that I'm a liar, I have nothing more to say to you. I'm too old to be baited and insulted and don't have time for it. Thanks and God bless you.

Although Scripture addresses some of the conflicts between the disciples, seeing it fleshed out puts a whole different light on it than simply reading it.

And the saying of “Familiarity reeds contempt” does come into play. When you read and reread the same passages enough, it loses its impact. It’s an interesting exercise to once in a while read a familiar passage of Scripture and try to imagine just what exactly took place when it happened.

For example, the clearing of the Temple, when Jesus saw the money changers and went away to make a whip and then come back and clear it. I can just see the change in His demeanor and the disciples huddled together in a group wondering what was about to go down, following at a safe distance and watching Him as He did this.
