If someone is Court ordered to Mental Health treatment, the Court’s record of that order is public information.
The actual treatment under care is not available for the public.
The same for Drug Rehab.
If someone seeks Mental Health treatment or Drug abuse treatment ON THEIR OWN WITHOUT A COURT ORDER…….disclosure of any and all treatment is not public. Even confirmation of treatment can’t be made.
Hunter Biden sought treatment on his own. There was not court order so there was no record of his Drug abuse treatment.
So when he purchased the firearm and lied on the form, the NICS check system didn’t show he was a drug user.
Now the real tricky part. Did Biden purchase the gun after Drug abuse treatment and therefore considered himself Not a drug user?
Something that Defense Lawyers will explore and exploit.
