With the border the way it is now the democrats are making us Sri Lanka on a larger scale.
Famine will be on an individual basis; if you can't afford food and are unable to grow/catch your own, and unwilling/unable to take it from others, you'll experience famine.

It may be wise to stock up on food the feral won’t eat. Nuts, coconut oil, olive oil, protein bars… really anything healthy ought to do it. I gave up the SAD long ago. [SAD = Standard American Diet]
