Oh, yes - someone the other day was calling it “performance art” akin to the fact men played the women’s parts in Shakespeare’s plays back in the day. As though that is in any way comparable to taking kids to watch men strip and having the kids put dollar bills down their thongs, and take them to bars with signs that say “It isn’t going to lick itself.”

That's a classic straw man argument. School shootings and the gun control arguments that follow them have absolutely nothing to do with keeping these pedophiles away from children. He could have just as easily made the argument that lawmakers should be focused on school lunch menus instead of pedophiles and it would make as much sense.

If my stove and hot water heater are both broken then I fix them both, I don't proclaim that I have to focus on one to the exclusion of the other. Stopping mass murderers and keeping homosexual predators away from children are both critically important, we have to stop both.
