I took a class on the Soviet Union back in College (mid 80s).
The thing I remember the most: professor was some ex-CIA guy.
Arthur Nicholson was recently murdered by a Soviet POS. Professor said in retaliation: “in my day, we’ve have dumped a body at checkpoint charlie”.
Nicholson is considered the “last casualty of the cold war”.
Well, a new cold war is shaping up. So maybe more casualties to come...

That makes sense is a perverse counter-logical way.
In traditional thinking you’d want to launch an offensive like Russia did; at the end of the winter so you have the summer for conducting operations.
But by launching an invasion at the end of the summer China can rush in forces to seize objectives and then Russia has to try to dislodge an entrenched occupier during the winter.
Yeah, good luck with running that operation six thousand miles away from Ukraine.

I saw that one unedited on Rumble. That was pretty awesome to see $60m in equipment get destroyed so easily! Not to mention it was nice to see the Orc troopers getting experience as cosmonauts!

I was thinking that the rate Russia is losing its premier MBTs and bring out of mothballs the T62s for replacements in Ukraine, China will have a major advantage against Russia in a tank on tank battle. China has always eyed the east ant Tom Clancy even wrote a novel on this scenario.
The more Russians killed now, weakens their chances against China. It is very possible for Russia to be a Chinese state with Val’s health declining.
