Its looking increasingly like McCormick has lost and the RINO Establishment will be taking another fastball to the shorts.
The responsibility part is an inconvenience to woke-land USA.
The privilege part is a joke among the ruling-class.
The first time it was used to rig an election by the anti american pukes was 1864 to try to defeat Lincoln.

"I don’t believe the requisite number of states will accept your challenge."
Trump can never be elected president either. (ahem)
Repealing 16&17A would effectively allow all the states to secede from the unconstitutionally big federal government.
"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States." —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
From the congressional record, a statement concerning the 14th Amendment by Rep. John Bingham, the main author of Section 1 of that amendment:
”Simply this, that the care of the property, the liberty, and the life of the citizen, under the solemn sanction of an oath imposed by your Constitution, is in the States and not in the federal government [emphases added]. I have sought to effect no change in that respect in the Constitution of the country.” —John Bingham, Congressional. Globe. 1866, page 1292 (see top half of third column)
"From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]." —United States v. Butler, 1936.
The big deal is that there would be no more unconstitutional federal taxes, taxes that Congress cannot reasonably justify under its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers.
In other words, the states would be eliminating the unconstitutional middleman, the unconstitutionally big federal government, from "helping" the states to manage their revenues.
Trump should consider supporting the repeal of 16&17A imo.
Trump won 30 states - Amending the Constitution takes 38. There 8s pretty.much zero chance that you could get 8 of the states that voted for Hillary to agree with that plan.
Don’t count your chickens before they’re hatched.
You might end up with egg on your face.
And their sycophants are still desperately trying to polish them!
A bunch of ordinary voters probably don't know about the federal government's constitutionally limited powers because of failure of public schools and very corrupt, Democratic and RINO supporting media.
But that is a changeable situation, evidenced by the fact that we're discussing the issue.
I’m sure they do - an much of it is from some of the slams others have misrepresented. Nobody knows for sure - remember when everyone was gaga over Rubio, “a truly conservative Latino” - until he wasn’t.
