"Apocalyptic worldview"
But it ISN'T "apocalyptic" when the left says climate change will kill us all in eight years if we don't pass their legislation, that we need to start eating insects instead of beef, that the oceans will swamp our cities, that Trump is worse than Hitler, that the country is systemically racist and blacks don't stand a chance, that a two-hour riot that killed no one was worse than 9/11, that Covid will kill us all if we don't keep wearing masks, that we are surrounded by domestic terrorists and white supremacists, and that it will be the "end of democracy" if Republicans re-take Congress this year?

"The main purpose is to try to scare off anybody thinking of defending the person, since they would then be tainted as “racist” too."
The main purpose is to scare off advertisers and get Carlson taken off the air.

That too — it’s all part of the same thing: Taint the person to destroy their personal and business relationships.

" . . . how American conservatism evolved from Reagan to Trump — the triumph of the nativist current on the right, and the shrinking boundary between mainline politics and the cranks and conspiracy theorists of QAnon."
Actually, it is the left that has "evolved" from JFK to Ilhan Omar and AOC and Bernie Sanders, from traditional liberalism to Marxism and the bizarre theories of CRT and LGBTQ ideologues.

Well, the New York Times WAS right about the Steel dossier.
The New York Times was right about Trump being a Russian Agent
And they were right about the upstanding young man Hunter Biden being framed about by some Computer Shop owner.
When have they ever been wrong?

His show may be the most racist program in the history of cable news. That "honor" has to be split between Joy(less) Ried and Al Sharpton.

Do these people ever explain what a "white nationalist" is or what a "white nationalist" believes? WHITE, by accident of birth.
NATIONALIST, by love of America and her founding principles.
DEAL WITH IT!
I want it on a T-shirt.

No, that would be the Joy Reid Show.

I refuse to use the expression "white nationalist" because I regard it to be a term of leftist propaganda intended to blur distinctions and smear decent people as extremists. As with terms like "Islamophobia" and "homophobia," it is intended to pressure people into a corner and accept false premises.

I saw his response on Twitchy.com this morning. I will post it soon.

Confessore responded to the claim that NYT is failing during an appearance on MSNBC’s Morning Joe early Monday.
“I think in the last quarter we had 100,000 new digital subscriptions,” he said, reading off of a piece of a paper. “We’re hiring people.”
Then, in a failed attempt at humor, Confessore cited the “sushi in the cafeteria” as further evidence that NYT is not failing.
“Our sushi in the cafeteria is pretty good so I think the Times is doing great,” he said, prompting no laughter from Scarborough or the other guests on the show.--Daily Caller
Confessore puts his shallow mentality on display with this failed attempt at cafeteria humour.
This feather-brained character definitely needs a big team of writers to keep him afloat in the murky pages of the NYT.
