17000 cases per day seems a lot until you realize that there are 25 million people in Shanghai. 0.000068 percent of the city is testing positive per day and most won’t die. But they dang sure might starve to death.

After my mom passed a couple years ago I brought home with me my dad’s 1960’s Black & Decker 1/2” electric drill with a 100% aluminum body. Heavy as heck.

I also brought back his early 1970s Skilsaw. Again all aluminum and steel. No plastic.

My oldest power tool that I bought new is a Porter Cable Speed Bloc 1/4 sheet pad sander. I bought it when I was in high school around 1980.
The problem is its tall and you need a key to change the sandpaper. So, I have bought two cheaper ones since then. Another Porter Cable that died about six months ago. I replaced it with a Dewalt.

I have tools my father had from the 1950s including his Snap On tool chest, sockets and torque wrenches.

Hi.

I would say this calamity was totally avoidable, but given the evidence, I think it’s purposeful.

From the hyperbole of the pandemic, to constricting the supply of energy, these government policies are destructive.

“The battery was made in Germany”

Very unlikely the actual lithium cells were made in Germany.

Yep. They figured out how to bring countries to their knees without firing a shot.
