Neither my siblings nor I were chubby. We were all someone petite kids.
My one brother was downright wiry and yet he could eat anyone under the table. What he did with all that food, we never knew, but in those days, he had a very efficient metabolism.
Our grandson had this condition. He was allergic to a specific milk protein, which he has now outgrown.
It did stunt his growth, and he will always be short.
