the truckers are already not delivering goods- they have taken time off from their work to join this protest convoy- canada hasn’t crumpled yet from lack of food-
Precisely. The truckers converging on Ottowa was largely symbolic. Where they are running into problems is messaging. Sure, they chose to stand on the vaccine mandate. But IMO they should change the message. They need a Jimmy Hoffa type. Call a general strike and demand a 100% pay raise and stop making vaccines the focal point. Even though they have their right to protest it, they need to pivot on the message for the general public. Everyone already knows their position on vaccines and authoritarian actions. Probably 90% of them are vaccinated and their solidarity is commendable. But all that aside, truckers work hard and are underpaid. A message about their wages will resonate louder with more of the public.
Here’s solution.
Unvaccinated Canadian truckers are allowed to cross the border. They just have to isolate for 2 weeks afterwards.
Why not just isolate at the border crossing? Instead of infecting us Canadians.
Clog up the border crossing because they are telling you to?
Screw Canada. They should become illegal immigrants and settle in USA.
They make good pay in Canada they just need to be able to work uninterrupted without mandates.
Ask for 3 tests before you drive your truck into that Covid crossborder cesspool.
We all know Canada and US of A infection rates are different.
She doesn’t even try.
Where there’s a will there most certainly is a way to get rid of despots. History shows many that found that out the hard way.
Romanians knew what to do.
Statement misleadingly implies that the cabinet has the power to "depose" the Prime Minister or otherwise limit his power. Not the case!
