When people in power are challenged this is the kind of thing you can expect.
Remember, those in power want to stay in power, and they want more of it.
LE should think very carefully about the amount of “force” they are willing to use. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. The amount of force projected by LE will be returned to them in equal proportion. Once force is projected this entire mess will get out of hand very very quickly. Injure just one child of a trucker, and I would expect that the full fury of hell will be released on LE. Sadly, I’m not optimistic for a good outcome at this point.
And remember that a large percentage of the population do not trust the government. They are suspicious of the government. Especially right now. Making the video public will just confirm their suspicions and the people running the government don't want this at all.
No, the government doesn't want any bad press. Especially “peacenik” leftists.
They built a new fence around Parliament a couple days ago. It didn’t look too robust, rather flimsy. I suspect it is a prop in what they are planning.
When the police forms their skirmish lines, they might try to force the crowd into the fence. The “proper” media will be there to photograph it and will claim the protesters are trying to breech the fence. Maybe even trying to attack Parliament.
And then the narrative will be a Canadian Insurrection... their own J6.
And remember that a large percentage of the population do not trust the government. They are suspicious of the government. Especially right now.

The elites are well aware of this by now. That makes their willingness to up the level of abuses even greater. Kind of like a cornered animal.
