BTW, as bad as that beating looked, it did relatively little real damage. Victim seated tight to the desk with head down and arms pulled in tight and hands clasped over the neck did a lot to minimize damage. The available target area is upper back and outside edges of upper arms and forearms; a lot of muscle-protected bone. The blows were poorly directed rage blows and a lot glanced along the surface before overshooting.
Not saying the victim did it deliberately or that the attack wasn’t a real assault. Just noting that putting her head down on the desk and covering up provided a lot of protection.
Victim was pummeled unconscious.
Parents & daughter of the aggressor are lucky some FRiends are not the father with a rock-solid alibi.

There is no preceding segment in the video for context and no closing segment to show the aftermath. So it is possible she became unconscious afterwards. There is no doubt she was pummeled. But what I SAW during the video was a victim being relatively successful in maintaining a protective posture from beginning to end.

I broke up several fights in my high school with at least 10-15 students surrounding them, cheering them on. Not 30, but over 10 it doesn’t matter: you go Moses on the scene, distract, command, and redirect.

When teachers are unwilling and take no meaningful action to keep a student in their class from being beaten to unconsciousness by another student, they should be sent to jail along with the perpetrator.
