why fire the admirals. They do not pay for the ships. The Congress of the United States authorizes the constructions of ships for our Navy. How much money has government of China authorized for ship construction vs what has our government authorized for ship construction?

No matter how strong or willing the enlisted people are they will fail without leadership. Afghanistan proved that.

The enlisted are not even willing now. The army upped the ante today with the $50,000 enlistment enticement. See how that goes.
Today, I could not recommend a military career for any good young person.

The speed of this $50K bonus being added is head spinning and shows just now bad it is.
If I were a flying instructor I’d be worried on two counts. One that I would not have anyone in the pipeline to train and then that the ones I did have to train would be so poor they would kill me.
If my understanding of the two groups they are now former military, no longer active. They mattered once but not so much now where force readiness is concerned.
