LSU and UGA couldn’t do it to Bama before. Now Bama tonight is on the other side.

People also conveniently forget that this Bama team was Saban’s youngest at Bama. A complete rebuild.
The team was also a walking “MASH” unit. There is no College Football Squad cursed with as many catastrophic injuries as Bama. Tonight, when Jameson Williams went down, I knew it was over. Georgia basically beat our second string.
I’m very proud of what this young, rebuilding team accomplished. I only wish that, if we couldn’t win the NC, the winner would have been a non-sec team.

If you’re going to beat Georgia twice you’d better be at full-strength, which Bama wasn’t.
But, Bennett stepped up, and that’s where the credit lies, I really thought after that rough start Bama had him rattled, but he settled down and played better than Young.
The tue character of the Kirby Smart team came through in the fourth quarter, as the dirty play went on in the open and the zebras ignored it. Example was #64 after the whistles diving over the pile to jam an elbow into #48 Bama linebacker and another play where a huge offensive lineman of Kirby’s thugs leaped onto the whistled pile and slid off the piole and flipped over. The early evidence got a hankie when the Georgia defensive rusher tore off the helmet of the Bama offensive lineman. Georgia is a dirty team ofConrad Doblers ...
