You badly misinterpreted my post. Yes I do know everything about quercetin. Because I take it and all the other vitamins mentioned is very likely the reason I had no symptoms when I had covid except that I lost my taste.

I was only pointing out that I’d like to have Ivermectin on hand also for friends
and family members who might be more at risk than myself in the case that they got covid. And I was just sort of venting that it’s a pain in the butt that Ivermectin is so difficult to get.

Do you know about Pepcid (brand name) also known as famotidine (generic name), originally created to prescribe for heartburn, but now available OTC, is effective against COVID-19 symptoms if you do get infected?

I keep a bottle of these tablets to take if even the slightest indication of one of the symptoms appear.

Have you checked out diphenhydramine HCl (=Benadryl* available in Dollar Tree stores) with lactoferrin (contained in "Colostrum" available in vitamin stores) that is reported to kill the virus very quickly>

A pair of over-the-counter compounds has been found in preliminary tests to inhibit the virus that causes COVID-19, University of Florida Health researchers have found.
The combination includes diphenhydramine, an antihistamine used for allergy symptoms. When paired with lactoferrin, a protein found in cow and human milk, the compounds were found to hinder the SARS-CoV-2 virus during tests in monkey cells and human lung cells.
The findings by David A. Ostrov, Ph.D., an immunologist and associate professor in the UF College of Medicine’s department of pathology, immunology and laboratory medicine and his colleagues, are published in the journal Pathogens.
“We found out why certain drugs are active against the virus that causes COVID-19. Then, we found an antiviral combination that can be effective, economical and has a long history of safety,” Ostrov said.

Actually, I interpreted quite exactly what I only guessed, and your reply says so in your last sentence:
