no one has ever claimed vaccines do not reduce likelihood of bad outcome

Did you seriously just say that? Did you just beam down to earth yesterday, or what?

You’re proof people need to know that no one flunks med school anymore so they should pick their doctors carefully.

And the absolutely last, bottom of the barrel, class clown, med school grad is still an MD.

You’re nothing but an anesthesiologist. STFU!

Well, you certainly do not know what you are talking about — before you make such a proof positive statement, you might actually want to be sure

Really hammers at your credibility

Have a good evening, I am sorry you are so angry with life.

“Our protocols for intubation was an SP O2 of 89 or lower.”

A buddy of mine caught covid around Christmas 2020. He was at home until the first week January, I spoke with him briefly by phone. His O2 fell into the 70s before they hospitalized and ventilated him. Sedated. He picked up pneumonia. Kidneys went AKI. They attempted dialysis but his BP would go out of control. He died maybe a couple of days later. Several other members of his family were infected at the same time, three others died. His wife had a moderate case, still has impaired sense of taste and smell.

“Tell that to the death rate in Uttar Province.”

Uttar Pradesh is reporting the 6th highest number of Covid cases in India as of December 31, 2021.

“Number of the coronavirus (COVID-19) cases across Indian states and union territories as of December 31, 2021, by type”

What an awful story.

Sorry for your loss. I hope his family recovers fully from Covid. They’ll probably never recover from their loss.

That’s thing about this virus, 99 stories of people getting Covid and recovering fine over time, and one story of sadness.

Really angers me that still, STILL China goes unpunished for this hell they brought on to the World.

God bless you and your friend’s family.

Well, you certainly do not know what you are talking about — before you make such a proof positive statement, you might actually want to be sure

What is it that I don't know? That you're nothing more than an anesthesiologist?
Isn't that what you claim your occupation is/was?
If you're NOT an anesthesiologist doesn't that make you a liar?

Have a good evening, I am sorry you are so angry with life.

I'm not angry with life. That's your assumption.
Now, as to what I dislike it's someone who is not qualified in a certain area of medical expertise harping on and on about a subject matter in which they're not qualified yet trying to give the appearance of being qualified.
You're NOT qualified to do anything but put a person to sleep.
(I do realize that the field covers a vast array of knowledge and skill and I give you credit for that.)
You're not medically qualified to give any opinions other than in your particular field yet you're all over this site pontificating as if you're some kind of expert when you're not.
If you were an epidemiologist I might give your screeds some credence. You, however, are NOT an epidemiologist, are you.

You can shove your fake angst where the sun doesn't shine.

No I understood the efficacy of HCQ. It was and is ineffective.

According to the US government, it, along with ivermectin, is “curative”.

Are you prescribing these remedies?

The report you refer to is unconfirmed. They are not curative no matter how much you hope they are. And no I prescribe effective therapies such as monoclonal antibodies.

But nice try with the gotcha question based on a report allegedly uncovered by a website.

So you won’t prescribe ivermectin or HCQ?

How about suggesting they take zinc, quercetin, C and D.

Or do you tell them to go home until they show up at the ER needing to be intubated?

Nothing in the article, no science or data dealing with any other reasons these people are on vents. Just one variable, vac or non vac. That is misleading and unscientific on its face.

I don’t prescribe inferior drugs. Period. If a patient needs treatment from me they get monoclonals. Yes I recommend vitamins and minerals. I have written that before.

You are simply trying to pick a fight. It’s pretty clear and consistent what my professional opinion is. You make statements there are false and then try to play gotcha. You continue to be incorrect on many things.
