The conspiracy theorist in me says that most of these tests are already calibrated to give false-positives no matter what.

If I have to ask for a test, then I am in some database.

If I have to submit test results, ditto.

If they send tests to everyone (they can, there are a lot of mailing lists. i.e., census bureau, congress mens’ fund raising, etc.) then I maintain some anonymity.
