More power to them for bringing these babies home. Lots of help and provision.

“One is a life that is artificially manufactured”

Sperm meeting egg results in a new soul. A soul blessed by God. A soul that you say should not exist.

Are they going for a Guinness record?

Wondering aloud.

Gonna need 3 school buses to get them around.

“That is a straw man argument and comes from your imagination not any position I took.”

As I took your post, you condemned the parents for their actions.

Thus it follows that they should not had these kids.

ergo, the kids should never have existed.

Given life or non-existence, you are choosing non-existence.

She is able to support them, so on that front I have no problems. But having them all at once? I was a teacher and it is like having a classroom. You cannot give each of those children all of the care they need at this time. Perhaps a better plan would have been to have staggered their births having 2-4 each year for a few years. Also, having them all roughly the same age, will make comparisons to readily apparent in their lives and that also is not a good thing.

Well with 16 live in nannies I’m sure that won’t be an issue later on.

I would imagine a dream come true in Russia.

As the article states, this is in the country of Georgia - not the country of Russia.

Regards,

I was one of seven kids in my family. We often had Aunts, Uncles and cousins move in for short and longer periods of time. The most cousins at one time with all of us was 3, but at Holidays we had about 15 kids, 6 parents, and grandma. It was A BLAST.

My Mother had 7, she solved the chore problem by training us all to help. My older sister was as good a mom as my mom, but more strict.

We all did dishes when old enough.

We ALL had to make our beds, clean our rooms and organize our drawers. On Saturdays, we stripped the beds and then had to remake them Saturday night. I am talking hospital corners, and Dad dropping quarters on them to see if they met specs.

There was no fighting, or running in the house. Shoes were left at the doorway, and Gramma did a lot of cooking. The oldest was my brother, who worked two different jobs and donated the income from one of them to the coffers. A tradition that followed until I moved out. The young ones, I was #3, had a much easier time, though they did take on the family paper route, they got to keep their earnings.

I try to teach my children the same thing now that they have children. They are not buying it. IMO, the worst thing you can do for humans, and that includes children, is expect nothing, and give them everything. It breeds Democrats and Communists.

Georgia was Russia until 1991. Same thing. Same mentality.

It was the Georgian SSR. And of course "Koba" was Georgian.

My biggest problem is I can’t get my kids to help out. It’s been really hard for me since i’ve been sick.

No. I am choosing in favor of responsible parenting, not against life. You assume what my argument does not imply.

My mother said it best to an older sister one time, when that sister was an adult, married and about the have children. My mother told her that having eight children, and the first four in the first four years of her marriage, with two more in another four years, was a stressful situation and not just hard on her but hard on us kids in terms of what she could do for each of us, which was never enough in her view. My mother also said that regardless of that, and how she would not recommend that scenario on any couple, she loved and loves each of her eight children and as persons does not regret them. Yes, life itself, human life, is a good, but just as important for each life is responsible parenting. My mom told my sister to always love all her children but recommended she not follow in mom’s footsteps, for her children’s welfare and her own. Life yes, responsible life.

I am sorry you can’t see the difference and keep on with your bogus “right to life” straw man argument.

Again you keep repeating arguments I do not make.

Beautiful place.

We pulled in to port there on one of my Navy deployments. One of those cities that I had no idea existed and I was awestruck when I saw it.

Good times! Careful with that Georgian wine though. It packs a punch!
