Thirty four years ago Florida passed a conceal carry law. Our statewide newspapers went nuts condemning it. The position 'journalists' took was crime would skyrocket and Florida would become the wild wild west - with high noon shootout in every city.

Well, the opposite happened.

Crime dropped like a lead balloon... John Lott's position that 'More Guns means Less Crime' was accepted all over the state. For a brief period of time even liberals backed off on 'gun control'... Which didn't hold long because liberals are nuts... but we had a break from them...
