So you reward tyranny with MORE unconstitutional government power as a solution?? Madness.

Must conservatives rebuild their own societal infrastructure -- banks, universities, TV networks -- from scratch?

If that's what it takes. Either that or take over the infrastructure already in place.

Is your God-given freedom and wellbeing from tyranny worth what ever it takes? Are you willing to do whatever it takes to defend or preserve your freedom including fight and maybe die for it?

As Thomas Paine once wrote, "Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery?"

That's what I'm suggesting. If we build a competing platform, great.

But if we take over the government, then we use that government power to enforce our policies. Ban CRT from universities. No student loans to private universities that teach it, etc.

If we did that, we'd be no better than the Delusional Lying Left.

If we, the patriotic Right, were somehow able to take over the government, we would use that government power to reinstate the Constitution as the Supreme Law of the Land which would require dismantling the unconstitutional 80%+ portion of the federal government and once again make this a land ruled by the freedom of the Law of the Constitution, not the tyranny of the whims of man, whether it be the Left or you or I.

Some conservative commentators have been pointing out, for decades now, that perhaps the problem with Republicans is that we want to be "better" than the Left.

The Left steals elections, riots outside conservative leaders' homes -- No Justice, No Peace! -- and uses every means, legal and illegal, to punish their opponents.

Republicans graciously accept stolen elections, are too polite to counter riot (January 6, as you know, was no riot), and too principled to use the FBI or IRS to punish their opponents.

And so the Left keeps winning, while Republicans, conservatives, and libertarians console themselves that "At least we stood by our principles!"

In today's cultural climate, you can no longer win though reason, facts, logic, and principles. We're living in Spain, 1935. The BLM/Antifa shock troops of 2020, protected by the FBI and funded by the oligarchs, are only a taste of what's to come. So I really don't care about being "better" than the Left.

I don’t care about today’s popular culture or Republicans many of whom stand for nothing. I’m talking about Patriots vs. the Left.

The Left loves Marxism - unlimited governmental power, tyranny, and oppression.

The Patriotic Right loves America - individual independence (represented substantively by the Declaration of Independence which birthed our nation) and freedom (represented substantively by the Law of the Constitution which created a limited government and still protects individual independence and freedom) from unlimited governmental power, tyranny, and oppression.

That is the issue and that is the fight. America does stand for something - the values of God-given rights of an individual’s life, liberty, and free pursuits - things many have died to come to America for and dies to keep, (things you seem to think are “theories”) actual facts and God-given desires in every human heart.

You sound like you’ve gone over to the other side - giving up your precious God-given freedom without a drop of blood shed. That is sad. Freedom is hardly won and relatively easily lost.

When was the last time you lived in China? I bet a year over there might change your mind about freedom (the Patriotic Right) being better than tyranny (the Left).

Isn’t life better than death to you? I don’t know, maybe you’ve been had by today’s deceit and confusion. I think maybe many have. What is the prescription for that?

Start with understanding that acquiring and retaining freedom requires faith. Faith in God helps one to believe in something and live for something - things like Hope and Love - things you can’t necessarily see but nevertheless exist, like the sun when you can’t see it behind the clouds.

If I’ve already lost you then, all I can say is good luck my FRiend.

If you’re still with me, then the prescription to just laying down and letting them kill you is, first, you have to

1) WANT to get out of that frog-sitting-in-the-boiling-water state of mind. You have to at some point be willing to change your mind.

If and when you decide you don’t want to just sit there and let the Marxists basically kill you,

2) ASK the Lord God for help. He will help you if you really mean it. He doesn’t respond to lip service, but he does hear your heart. And if you want the Lord to help you, he will, and sooner or later he will bring you to Christ who can and will clear your mind and give you a new heart that lives in and loves personal freedom.

Good luck.

I've seen Communism. I visited Eastern Europe several times in the 1970s. Yes, you could feel the difference between that and the U.S.

But that's no longer true today. I no longer feel free in the U.S. I feel like I did under Communism.

Were I a young man, I'd emigrate to Russia, which I believe is more free than the U.S. At least there you can say that men don't give birth, and not have to worry about being fired, deplatformed, or having Antifa outside your doorstep.

I'm past the point of pretty principles. I'm at the point of crush the Left by whatever tactics work.

How old are you? You sound young and naive. Filled with a spirit of youthful idealism. Whereas I am old and cynical.

I've supported the GOP and conservatism for decades, and seen it fail and fail again. Even when they take over Congress or the Presidency, the country moves ever leftward.

You’re looking at current facts and circumstances which are as changeable as the raging sea.

You seem to ignore that there is such a thing as truth and freedom REGARDLESS of current circumstances. You are like a guy who is locked up in the cellar and after awhile believes there is no sun or sky because it is not part of the current world you’re living in.

Circumstances change. Truth does not change. The circumstance of you’re breaking out of that cellar (or Patriots getting an upper hand on the Left) could change. But the truth that there is a sun and a sky (or freedom from government tyranny and oppression) remains regardless of what you believe.

And you and I can be part of CHANGING circumstances. But if you say, “Oh well, there is no longer such a thing as freedom because I don’t see it”, then you seem to have lost something else - faith.

Back to faith and freedom. Kind of goes together like peas and carrots. If you don’t have faith, sooner or later you’ll lose freedom.

But if our Founders thought like you, we never would have had an America. At the time, before 1776, they did not have the freedom in which they believed, but were willing to die for God-given freedom because they knew the truth and did not rely on current circumstances to dictate their lives or future.

Our Founders and early Americans fought and died for the ideals and truths of freedom, independence, and life itself (captured on our founding documents)- ideals which you seem to cynically deny matter or even exist.

Not that it matters, but I’m a 73-year-old attorney and have not yet begun to fight.
