Observation re: the jab

When this is all over, we’re going to have to deport to Canada ALL those who refer to shots as jabs.

I use that term but don't really like it. But we can't really call them vaccines, since they don't confer immunity or prevent transmission of a virus, so what else should we call them? Shots? Therapeutics?

Be careful how you deal with medical personnel. ..a business owner we know (50s, white) just spent @ month fighting covid in local small town hospital...says he almost died...was on Ventilator in ICU...UNVAXXED. Said hospital personnel treated him like crap...because he was unvaxxed.

Call them shots. Shots don’t have to be vaccines… they can be antibiotics, steroids or anything else injected by hypodermics.

Sadly, I’m beginning to think yet another British invasion, in the form of the word “jab” in place of “shot”, has succeeded.

I agree. Calling it a ‘jab’ completely trivializes it. I pretty much always refer to it as the ‘experimental drug test’, or something similar.

I really wish people would drop ‘jab’ from their vocabulary when discussing this.
