I cut and pasted a direct quote from her Wikipedia article. I suspect whoever provided that edit to her article did so quickly and with the understanding that Wiki wouldn’t leave it up long.
And unhappily, FreeRepublic doesn’t allow editing a post after posting. Like others on FR, I sometimes post while upset or at odd hours of the day. Unlike some, I don’t hold others to flawless grammar or spelling on an Internet board since, like others posting, I don’t spend much time reviewing them.
It always seems odd to me that others feel a need to treat someone’s FR post like an English essay versus a quick response. But...I’m sure the Wiki edit was someone’s “quick response” as well.

You were quoting someone else, and so are of course not culpable for that other person's embarrassing grammatic mistakes. (In fact, it would actually be improper of you to correct the errors in the original.)
I was not faulting you, but rather the person (whoever he/she was) who criticized someone else's blunders while committing his/her own.

"oops, but loved the pics, glah glah glah" -- what an a-hole.
