In 1962, my dad kicked me out of the house, so I lived in a small converted garage in Hollywood. I was 17, so that made me the target of every homo for several miles and luckily I was a fast runner and a reasonably able fighter and avoided them.

Unfortunately, living where I did, there were newspapers, flyers and scrawled messages everywhere, describing in detail all of the foul crap they did with each other.
