Are they real scientists or fake scientists, like Dr. Fauci?
They say this every single year in hopes of getting right one of these times.
Every damned year they spew this noise, yet the great majority of “hurricane seasons” are relatively similar.

Munich RE is the insurance business. They are looking at potential financial damages, as expensive assets of increasingly populated coastlines multiply. There is no scientific evidence that hurricanes are increasing, in fact just the opposite over the long run. Even IPCC has abandoned the claim that AGW will make for more extreme storms.

They’ve been forecasting that for a good many years now. Sooner or later, sheer chance will prove them correct.
How many Typhoons surfaced last year? Kind of a record low year for them. One cannot just count hurricanes and come to a tropical cyclone stat.
Some also say that with rising sea temps comes a more even baroclinic difference meaning the power of the storms is defused as winds increase in direct proportion to the change between the air masses.
There is a ying for every yang IMO.
We are currently on number 4 named storms this season in the Atlantic basin. At least two of the prior ones were like severe storms IMO. Put a name on them and one hears Andrew when in fact none of the prior ones were worse than a late season Nor Easter.
Expect the current storm, Elsa, to be touted as the second coming of Andrew given the recent condo collapse in Miami. For the lib press it is a twofer, a shot on DeSantis and Florida.
That is my opinion and I am sticking to it.

Any sentence that begins this way is, of course, automatically true.
"Some scientists" can "see" almost anything you can imagine.
The "seeing" ability of climatologists is now so thoroughly discredited among people who know anything about actual science that we really don't even need to bother about what they say, but the general principle applies much more widely.

It’s like they are the “Quantum Leap” of hurricane forecasters!
And some don’t. Haven’t we heard these same stupid predictions for the past 30 years?
They have been predicting an uptick in hurricanes every year this century.
Especially those funded by the government. And very unscientifically they won’t debate their views with other scientists, or anyone.
These are the same “scientists” that says our actions of stopping the use of fossil fuels and using wind and sun for energy “affects” the sun. Yeah, right!! What we do on the earth does not affect the sun.
Some scientists think that Earth has been visited by aliens. Some scientists think that they can pour water out of a boot.
‘Scientist’ is meaningless without validation!
How can hurricanes be “wetter than normal” ?
They will contain more rain?
The water in the wind will be “wetter” than other water some how.
Come on Man!
The Weather Channel depends on these storms for ratings.
