Come on Oregon you are way behind California. Right now California provides Medicaid coverage for illegals up to the age of 26. There currently is a bill on Newsom’s desk to give Medicaid coverage to illegals 50 years plus.

Does that come out of state taxes or federal?

There is a Yuge chunk-a Real Estate in Ore. that needs to go join I-da-ho. [Boise should be paired up with Portland and excised from the rest of Ida.] It’s just Common Sense.

I work in an ER and when you check the board for a complaint 90%+ the time it is a trivial complaint the person has Medicaid/Medicare (under the age of 65) as their insurance. Look for a great increase in ER visits. Urgent care will also not ease the burden as they send any case that requires labs or imaging to the ER.

Medicaid represents $1 out of every $6 spent on health care in the US and is the major source of financing for states to provide coverage to meet the health and long-term needs of their low-income residents. The Medicaid program is jointly funded by states and the federal government.

Yes.

Sorry to be impudent and a brat. It just comes naturally to me.

A surcharge added to reparations will be voted upon, too.

My Dr dropped all medicaid patients several years ago

Told me he didn’t lose a dime doing so and losing all those patients

If my appointment is at 3:00, I’m usually weighed in and sitting in the exam by the given time

And has time to talk afterwards

Big difference between Medicare and Medicaid is that I have been paying into Medicare for the last 55 years. I am still paying into Medicare as I am still working. I am also paying for Medicare Part B my Blue Shield supplemental my vision prescription and dental supplemental. The guy coming across the border illegally tonight is immune from all of this. And now I get to pay for his sorry @ss

True, but the state will give him/her a driver license and the Clinton motor voter provision will produce more votes for Democrats. It’s not a bad scheme if you can get away with it.

“Does that come out of state taxes or federal?”

I believe Medicaid is federal block grants to states, and out of those grants I’m not sure where the extra funds will come from to cover illegals.

State funds until the Dems in Congress change it. Current law forbids using fed funds for illegals.

Brown just made us a destination state for illegals because they will go to wherever the welfare is most generous.

Voters will never take this state back.

California is using federal funds to give access to illegal aliens to Medicaid

California relies on federal funds to expand undocumented health coverage

Federal law generally prohibits states from using federal funds to pay for undocumented health coverage. But California officials say they have a way to offset about a quarter of the expansion cost using Medicaid dollars — nearly $24 million of the $98 million price tag in the first year.
Federal law allows state reimbursement for emergency and labor and delivery care for undocumented immigrants, dating back to a 1986 law intended to prevent hospitals from dumping patients on the street.

California plans to bill the federal government for those services for an estimated 90,000 new undocumented enrollees age 19 to 25 in Medi-Cal, the state’s Medicaid program, according to Department of Finance spokesperson H.D. Palmer. The state will pay for a richer suite of Medi-Cal benefits on its own, including preventive and primary care, prescription drugs and hospitalizations.

That is why I said for those under 65. People on SSDI qualify for free Medicare Part A and only pay around $100.00 per month for Part B. An ER visit is then anywhere from free to less than $100.00. Many don’t pay and by law even a person who is trespassed from a hospital can still go to the ER.

There is no more more voting in America. It;s all a sham. Democrats control it all through fraud. Unless 2020 is corrected, we will never have a real democracy..now it is a complete fraud..everywhere
