In his op-ed, Israel dismantled the growing notion that "systemic racism and white supremacy is all around us, and in everyone, and everything, a person encounters" and even more that it's "a secret force that exists everywhere, permeates all things, and wields power over society."
And he called it what it is — a "conspiracy theory."
“ He added that another student said the dispensers force “black and brown bodies” to show their palms — which are “the only light areas of the skin” — before the soap will come out.”
‘Scuze me, but aren’t your palms where you want the soap???
As a female I think they are sexist, as many I have come across suffer from premature ejaculation.
Not as raciss as flesh-colored bandaids, or shaving cream, or whipped cream, or egg white, or Wite-Out, or whiteboard, or white as a ghost.
Agent the palms where people of any color want the soap anyway? So what’s the problem?
This was actually demonstrated at Facebook in 2017. Some dispensers rely on sensors looking for a color change to see the hand and dispense the soap. 5% are too dark for it to work correctly.
They don’t see Caucasian hands a lot of the time, either. The sensors suck.
Who puts their hands under a soap dispenser palms down? Geezis.....
This has zero to do with race and everything with being self absorbed.
Seriously? An engineering student doesn't know that the dispensers are motion activated not camera activated??? If there is a bulletin board for engineering recruiters this guy should go on the too stupid to hire list.
The complaining students simply need a good beating. During the process the heads may pop out from their rectums.
remove the soap dispensers and let their hands turn into dark infested petri dishes like inner cities across our nation...
problem solved...
I’m still trying to figure out how peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are rasist. It’s hard to keep up 🤔🤔😖
People who have got the time to be offended by the racism inherent in soap dispensers are not oppressed at all.
In fact they are privileged brats.
