Nah, existing states DONATED land so that DC would not be beholden to any state. They can simply vote the land back into their fold since that compact is being violated.

True. And that was infuriating! Media folks are supposed to be neutral reporters of events. But as you noted, most of them are nothing more than Democrat propagandists.
But you’ve got to play the hand that you’re dealt. Too often Trump acted like a bull in a china shop. There was no finesse on his part. He played right into the hands of his enemies. That’s my take, anyway.
If I sound upset, that’s because I am. I truly believe that Trump was the last hope for the Republic. What will follow him will be a mix of ChiCom stooges and Antifa sympathizers.
The reason for all this is that the Dems want two more Dem Senators and two more Dem House Members.
Why not just return the respective land, that is not part of the capital complex to the states that gave up the land for the city originally?
