All of the weapons used by the drug cartels are purchased from Mexican police departments. I am sure these guns are in our streets right now and they are not registered. The ammo will be micro marked, but it won’t be tracked down to a buyer. Mexico will not stop such gun sales because the drug cartels makes sure the police make a huge profit, which they can use for the department operation.
