“Maybe one day when you are not supporting democrat talking points you will start supporting conservative republicans”

Maybe some day when Republicans weren’t POLITICAL IDIOTS, I won’t be pointing out their stupidity.

In this case, all he had to do was ask ANYONE HERE, or just about any other supporter, whether it was a really smart move to fly out of a public airport to Mexico, once the cold weather hit. Did he? If so, he needs new friends, if not then he better find some friends since he’s unable to figure out things this simple himself.

Need me to mention his comments blasting Trump for the Jan 6th rally?

“Yeah Cruz’s behavior in the 2016 primary and convention showed he way over valued himself. However, he since redeemed himself.”

Yea, he was making progress, once he figured out that there were things more important than his personal pride. But then Jan 6th hit, and then the Feb freeze...he needs to retire quietly at this point, rather than lose the Senate seat.

“he needs to retire quietly at this point, rather than lose the Senate seat.”

You’re always coming to the defense of squish Republicans who are basically Dim wannabes, saying “you have to vote for the pantywaist Republican because they are marginally better than the Dims.”

But you appear to loathe backing conservatives.

What’s your real game, BobL?

I go after conservatives when they do STUPID THINGS. Find me a post where I went after the best conservative ever elected, Trump. Or just about any other conservative Senator or House member.

But I don’t give idiocy a pass, especially to the level of Cruz thinking he could jet off to Mexico while his constituents are literally dying, or when Cruz essentially supports Hillary.

Question for you: Why are you unable to figure out that Cruz is a TOTAL IDIOT and is in way over head? Sounds almost like the Kristi Noem infatuation that I see here from others...even after she sells out our side.

When you win re-election by 1.5 points...you don’t do things like running off to Mexico at the first hint of trouble, not if you want to keep any kind of political future alive.

Right. And Cornyn can win the state by 9.4% and can tell Texans to FOAD! Nothing you can do to him for 6 years, and he is less worthless than Cruz!!

Cornyn did not give Trump any trouble on judges (actually, Rand Paul gave Trump more trouble), and was mostly supportive of Trump’s policies. Don’t know any Democrats here that would have supported Trump more - do you?

Sure, Cornyn despised Trump, but at least he could put that aside, which is why he won by nearly 10 points, when Cruz should have done at least as well.

We were talking Cruz. And those great judges sure helped in the Election as well as Comey Kavenaugh for the Texas lawsuit.

I think you’re confusing Cruz for Burr, Collins, Cassidy, Murkowski, Sasse, Romney, Thune, Toomey, and a host of others. Cruz is more intelligent than the rest of them put together. Going to Mexico when Texans were freezing may not have been the smartest public relations move ever, but it doesn’t even start to compare with the CINOs who voted to impeach Trump. Compare the conservative voting record of Cruz and compare it to some of the CINOs you have defended in the past.
