His attitude already is ‘I didn’t come into this with much so I won’t get much’. Sounds like he thinks he already knows how bad things can get, but modern divorce can get ugly beyond belief.
He should hire a good divorce attorney as of yesterday. If the divorce never happens, he can probably get a substantial refund.

Turns out they were born the same year, so 71. There’s grumblings going on I won’t detail that this may be due to her health decline and inheritance issues. Wouldn’t surprise me.
