Working on and filing lawsuits and actually going to court is different things. We have heard the hype before (tea party) and nothing results froom it of any significance.
Miller, 35, said the AFL was already working on a slew of lawsuits in Texas (my bold), hoping to use the same strategy that progressive groups used to block Trump administration policies by pursuing injunctions in more liberal court jurisdictions.
I could care less what they are “working on”, the point is what “slew of lawsuits” have they ACTUALLY filed and received a decision on. Big difference between “working on” and “have filed in a court of law, litigated the case and received a decision”. With activist judges, a “slew” of them might get thrown out before they see the inside of a court room.
I once “worked” on bringing and open a franchise to where I was living at the time. The franchisee said no and it never happened.
So let them “work on a slew of lawsuits” all they want on their dime. When they have gone past the phase of “working on” to the phase of “getting actual decisions from an actual Judge”, then I will support them. Meaning they need to do more than bring the drug hope-ium that this will be done. They need to show verifiable action. In layman’s term, show actual battles that have been brought to a court and have a judge render a decision. Until then, I’d rather put my hope in unicorns farting rainbows.
Funny, even before the Tea Party started I have said that the tactics of the left need to be employed and turned onto the the left. However, this doesn’t happen overnight. The enviro-whackos strategies need to be studied and then their tactics need to be drawn out and utilized. The way the LGBTQFHIJK- ellimino-Pee was done needs to be studied in depth. The enviro-whackos tactics are what really started to accelerate the actions that we see today. However, they didn’t get support fro the general public until verifiable results started coming in. Then they went to Joe Public to get funding.
I remember in the 90’s when I was living in an apartment building built in the 1800’s a couple of enviro-whackos came to my door. I let them in and listened to their pitch. They touted things they had accomplished up t that point before they asked for a donation from me. I treated them like they were a Jehovah Witness and asked them if they would like to have dinner with me. I told I was thawing some whale blubber to cook up some Flipper tuna because I needed the energy for later when I go seal pup clubbing. I never understood why they turned white as a ghost, although I later learned the apartment building was actually haunted, and exited faster than they came.
All in all, when we start fighting back, using stone for stone and brick for brick, only then can we start taking back our country. When people sit in the shadows and come out every so often to do this or that and then recede back into the shadows for years then things like the enviro-whackos lay down seeds and grow into the destruction of the familial unit and aborted baby parts are sold openly.
Change only happens over night in the most drastic of actions. Change that takes place over a period of time will always come to those who “never saw it”. Like a frog sitting in a pot of water on the stove. Only when the water boils does the frog know it is in danger. Right now most are that frog. Some of us have already jumped out of the pot.
If you want to counter the left then we need to do more than protest from our wallets. We need to better organize and prove through actions (notice action is plural) what has been done before we start selling hope-ium to people.
Right now, in this case, past experience is indicative of future outcome.
Earlier I used the Lincoln Project as an example but there are others out there like the Lincoln Project, taking money from donors and lining their own pockets with donated money. It is nothing more than a grift and until I see verifiable action leading to more verifiable action and the pockets of this group not being lined with donor money, this will be nothing more than a grift as well.
They will be filing lawsuits. It is not about articles.
Meaning they have not filed lawsuits but want money from everyone. More than likely to line their pockets with a good majority of that money, put up one lawsuit and say see we are filing. I thought P.T. Barnum was done with the circus schtick. He is credited for quipping that a sucker was born every minute!
