Me also—I positively CRINGE-—Even before the (stolen) election , I began unfriending, unfollowing them on FB, and NOWHERE do Lefties figure into any , even the widest , orbit of personal friends, and/ or acquaintances.I don’t wanna see or hear them coming around with “I guess Trump wasn’t that bad, really.......” I just don’t wanna hear it-—they always think they deserve credit for their lame transformation. They don't have actual shock absorbers as you may know them. They have a completely different suspension system in the front and back with the main compressors in the trunk. That's why they bounce along even while not employing the lifts.

I could be wrong, but in my day (mid-60's) we would just have a welder use a torch on the coil or leaf springs while on a lift to lower it to our preference. Then came hydraulic lifts and nowadays they use compressed gasses - not sure which because you can't compress air. Again, could be wrong - never had a lift system.

Sure, it causes vapor problems if not dehumidified, but it compresses just fine.

I've also wondered about the seals and lines, especially on the big equipment. I don't know why I got the liquid vs air compression thing reversed. Guess I'm losing it at 71.

I usede a Bobcat extensively in prep for building my current house. The hydraulics operating the arms and attachments seemed too small to exert so much force! ... loved driving and operating the add-ons with that Bobcat.
