Even more interesting that the reporters are not being attacked by the protestors. Does that mean the police are protecting the media types?
I’m actually disappointed. I kind of enjoy seeing the electorate that voted for this bs eat the fruits of their work. I still think cops should resign as a group and move to places that respect them. If they must stay in Portland or other such chaos places charge them price gouging mercenary rates.

It’s about time, but why did they clear a path(s) of least resistance for the young-idiot anarchists in the first place, because they’re young? They’re not “the future” yet for at least another 30 years now after all of this. I don’t care whose grandkids they are, they are NOT America’s best and brightest and they’re not raising their children to be America’s best and brightest either. Sorry kids, but the future of the USA belongs to the better Americans who can handle it.

Many years ago when I actually watched boy local and national “news” program I began to see a pattern. They all seem to have the same stories (usually in the same order). The details may have been a little different but there was a sameness to them.
I began to realize I was not watching “news” I was watching propaganda. They all spoke with “one voice” giving the same view point.
I quit watching news programs.
If I didn’t read blogs like FR then I wouldn’t know what the MSM said or did since I have totally refused to subject my mindspace to their utter bullschitt ever since Hussein was fraudulently and illegally elevated to the “presidency” of the utterly corrupt and criminal “government” of the now-defunct USA. GOPee Delenda Est!
The protests are not, "insurrections".
The homeless are, "dispossessed".
Illegal aliens are, "undocumented immigrants" or "asylum seekers".
Indoctrination is, "education".
Taxation is, "investment".
Terrorism is never, "Islamic".
"Choice" is abortion, never about schools.
Socialism is, "economic justice".
It's all done, "for the children"!
They are simply trying to distract from other news stories that are even more embarrassing to the Dems, mainly the border crisis and Cuomo. It also diverts attention from Biden who is quickly becoming a liability for the Dems.
Exactly. And you see a similar phenomenon with the Dems themselves. They instantly adopt the same talking points.

The protesters have accomplished their mission. Trump lost so the protestors are no longer needed. My guess is that if they continue to protest the police and prosecutors will start to kick ass all over them.
A friend’s son is a cop in Portland. They’ve had more than a hundred retire or quit. He is contemplating his own course of action.
And always with the same emotional trigger words or phrase. "Insurrectionists" being one recent example.
Pure propaganda is right. If one consumes the mockingbird media's droppings, one is misinformed at best.
I’m not sure that I agree your conclusions. I think the DNC Brownshirts had served their purpose, which was to provide a credible threat of violence if the Election Steal was opposed (hence Roberts saying that it was better to let the election be stolen than to have rioting).
But the problem with activating mobs is that it’s not always easy to ‘de-activate’ them, which is what the Democrats now need to do, as the mobs only work against them, when they’re the ones in power. Being in a violent mob is an incredible amount of fun, trust me, I was in one long ago. In fact, it’s more fun than going to Grateful Dead concert*.
So the Democrat leaders ‘sending messages’ to their Brownshirts, by showing, in this case, how easy it is for the police to shut them down and round them up. So this was their warning, next time they’ll need to lawyer up.
*I’m using terminology that they better understand.
The Antifa kiddies actually thought they were controlling the agenda. That’s the funny part. What is happening is their money is being shut off; and their political and legal protections are being withdrawn now that they are no longer useful to the very fascists they purport to be fighting.

Indeed. In my more optimistic moments, I think that everything having gone sideways in the last election might turn out to be a blessing in disguise, because maybe some people really *do* need to have the proverbial scales fall from their eyes. Maybe they really *do* need to gain personal, first-hand experience at just how bad things will get for them personally if the politically-correct monster they have been so eagerly feeding and coddling since the 1990s finally gets hungry enough that they’re the next items on the menu. Like that line from “Space Mother”: “I ate all the rest, and now I’m gonna eat YOU!”
Maybe, just maybe when the theme song of the society that they helped to create, and which they now find themselves living in, and unable to escape (and not only that, are now very much living in the WORST possible neighbourhoods of) is something like: “Heaters” by Ill Scarlet. Maybe, they will finally understand that President Trump was the last, BEST chance they were going to get to stop the Western World’s great ship from foundering, and get it back on the correct course.
Maybe, just maybe, they’ll finally discover that the so-called “right wing” that they so utterly despise with every fibre of their being aren’t all a bunch of hateful, bigoted, dinosaur, white-supremacist Nazis after all... That most of are actually sane, logical, practical, caring, and above all, LOVING people after all. And, unlike you, they not only tolerate, but CHERISH respectful argumentation about their core beliefs, because, unlike you, THEIR core beliefs only make MORE sense when they’re discussed. Unlike yours, which are so delicate they must be protected and shielded at all costs from the corrosive effects of honest discussion and argumentation. And finally, unlike you, the so-called “right wing” doesn’t have to live under a constant, energy-sapping penance hairshirt of shame, other than the shame, which YOU so desperately try to force upon it.”
But of course, that would mean that the low-information left wing would have to admit to (and own) the unique shame that they all carry: “Hey, Hollywood lefties. So yeah, from that standpoint, maybe Trump *should* be quite happy to let Biden run things for a while. Perhaps, like when dealing with certain children, who refuse to be taught any other way, Plato said that ‘the burned hand is the best teacher.’
Sometimes any method OTHER than the burned hand is ultimately doomed to failure. It’s also far too easy to append the old adage ‘be careful what you wish for’. I think that all the people, who wished so fervently to get rid of The Donald, are going to learn an object lesson in ‘be careful what you wish for’...
Which is another reason why The Donald can be happy to let Biden run things for a while.
