Feel the same way. Truth in advertising dictates that another term than “vaccine” be used. Alas, the chosen path of manipulation and propaganda dictates that the term “vaccine” be co-opted for use in fast-tracking and normalizing an experimental new technology. Johnson & Johnson, having just obtained emergency use authorization for what appears to be a true vaccine soon to be shipped in its millions of doses, must have steam coming out its proverbial ears that its competitors are basically lying about the nature of their respective products.
By the way, does anyone remember Senator Hilary Clinton reassuring New Yorkers that the haze of mystery chemicals arising out of the molten muck of Ground Zero for months on end after the destruction of the Twin Towers on 9/11 was not a health concern?
Fauci’s breezy high-office endorsement of the use of mRNA technology to inoculate against COVID-19 has the same whiff of being totally hollow from a scientific perspective but instead being offered solely for political reasons, intended to quell the concerns of a well-educated public despite those concerns likely having a strong basis in solid science.
Check the CDC’s glossary using the Wayback machine. Likely as not it fiddled with the definition of “vaccine” in the wake of the advent of mRNA technology so that mRNA-promoting zealots could eventually say what you just said with a straight face. Not that you are an mRNA-promoting zealot. That said, however, can you see the not-so-subtle paving function such forced or manipulated normalization is intended to perform?
We should not blindly countenance the dililution of scientific language, terms, words, etc. Insinuating despots lay the groundwork for later acts of blatant deprivation of essential rights by first manipulating standards and key terms and phrases in the language used the people, the “folks”.
The theory currently in circulation is that the Chinese are happy to see Western countries modify the bodies of their residents and citizens and are exploring ways to kill mRNA-modified people with new high-tech bioweapons specifically engineered to target such people, and that, conversely, and in accordance with their master plan on this regsrd, would have no ill-effect at all on the Chinese people who by law were prevented from receiving mRNA-modifying inoculations.

How does that compare to the survival rate for the virus?

That’s exactly what the anti-vaxxers are attempting to do, change the definition of a vaccine to one that fits the cult of the anti-vaxxer narratives.

I would highly suggest to pray very much!!! I believe, as do many others, that we are the generation of which Jesus spoke about in Matthew 24:34, the “great tribulation”. If you read some of the other articles, you might see why I believe that the three and a half years of this tribulation will begin this year!

The April variant of SARS-CoV-2 has an R0 of 2.5 and the latest variants are somewhere between 4.3 - 5.7. But they spread in similar ways. People are staying home when they’re sick. They’re keeping their distance from others, even when they don’t appear sick. There’s fewer indoor encounters between households. Far less travel. All the things flu relies on to spread.
