My pessimism is well justified.
Trillions in debt that can never be repaid
Immorality that would make ancient Rome blush
Vote no longer counts
60 millions murdered via abortion.
We deserve more than what Germany got for its sins.

FDR had FOUR terms. He had to die to not be POTUS anymore.
Things have been worse. They will get better....not that it will be easy. But all is not lost.
But again, his terms, like them or not, reflected the will of the people. Not so much anymore. So we are not a democracy anymore and about half the voters dont give a crap.
And I see NOTHING on the Conservative side, including from Trump, about fixing the corruption in the election . In fact he has said is he may want to play the fix is in game again. Why on earth would he even consider running again if the fraud is not corrected?
No, our country has never been this bad. It is morally depraved. What founding father said a democracy will work only if the people are religious? Well we have passed that tipping point.

Our country is no different than any other in terms of rise and decline. Countries come, countries go. I accept that reality and understand the only thing permanent is God. I need to have God as my primary focus and far far less on man made and imperfect politics. Doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate many of the principles our country was founded on and do hope that most carry on in whatever comes next.
