Nobody was thrown under any buses. Mr. Trump did all he could legally do. Too many forces on both sides are aligned against him. He campaigned harder than any presidential candidate I’ve ever seen, into the very last days before the election, Trump was still holding rallies.
People don’t work that hard at his age (any age, really) when they don’t want the job.
