Maybe this helps to explain the profession of pornography in our culture. Men with partners who are on chemical birth control or perhaps turn into porn for this biological reason.

I thought Dr. Tiger’s name was amusing, and then I found this footnote in Wikipedia’s article about him:

Only works that way if you want to have children. I’ve never found a shortage of available and attractive women who were on birth control.
One argument is we are (we act) above the level of hormonal influences on our “feelings”, and the other argument is that our presumed “thinking” has in fact been sometimes, influenced by “moods” that have been influenced by those hormonal signals.
We have 8 grown children - and my beloved wife BLOSSOMED when she was pregnant! She got even more beautiful!
This explains why so many women on birth control attract Beta males. Who else would be attracted to someone who’s altered hormones make her a stark raving mad lunatic?
That’s what I’m saying: women really are more beautiful when we’re fertile and especially when we’re pregnant.

That means so many American men are missing something very important in their lives. (Which is the root cause of basically every problem we have, so many are not parents 😥 )
