I respect deeply the English language and consider it the greatest language of all human history. The rules that govern it are important (and I'm certain I break them often).
Proper nouns should always be capitalized. It isn't about respect. Please, we must all do our part to uphold the rules of this most inspiring language.

They may have bound his feet - but I always thought “hog-tied” meant running a rope from the bound feet up to the arms behind the back. But he was able to stretch his feet out.
It seemed pretty laid-back and straight forward. Obviously the Trump supporter wasn’t putting up any resistance, and the cop was just talking to him and keeping him compliant.

There are definitely good Sheriffs out there.
I remember the Sheriff of Polk County Florida standing up for citizens 2nd Amendment rights and informing the citizens of his county to arm up when there was trouble down that way.
The Police are not neutral and they are not impartial. They also not on our side, but some on our side never learn. Which begs the question, whose side are the Police on? They are on the side of their retirement and pensions. They will obey the orders of those who sign their checks. And their bosses are now on the side of the criminal element. to wit} ANTIFA AND BLM. Should their Bosses tell them to shoot you. You are a shot ass. Should they tell them to protect ANTIFA and BLM while they beat the hell out of you and arrest you if you defend yourself from them. You are arrested. That is the way it is.
