Likely.
Are you ready?
Newspeak right out of 1984.
Thought control next.
Coming soon to a city near you.
The vaunted and epic Vikings have become pearl-clutching eunuchs.
So you think professional journalists at American Thinker should be held to a lower standard than High Schoolers?
Honestly, this is an aberration. I rarely read blog articles from AT or other conservative outlets that don't have a link to the original source. Because presumably, the author of this piece isn't a Norwegian posting first-hand from Norway, but rather read about it somewhere, and is reporting it secondhand and then commenting about it. And 9 times out of 10, they'll link whatever source they used.
I personally like to verify that the spin being attached to a story is correct before I forward it to others, and do that by reading the link. Except...there wasn't one this time.
Great, let the real criminals go and make up fake crimes and prosecute people for it.
Offending someone who takes offense easily is NOT a crime.
And I doubt they are even taking offense as much as pretending and using it to destroy people who don’t agree with them.
Now you’re using red herrings. AT has every right to produce original material, and they have no need of citing left-wing publications.
If you’re calling what AT produces “spin”, then perhaps you got lost on the way to a very different forum?
There are no transgenders in my world. Only genders, and fake genders.
Check out the last 9 articles written by this same guy. Every single one of them commented on a news event, and every single one of them included multiple links:
https://www.americanthinker.com/author/eric_utter/ Something that is actually original, that isn't referencing a specific news event like this, is different because it is based on common knowledge. It is based on whatever he read to let him know this had happened in the first place. And that's what he should have linked, and generally does link.
It's an aberration, which is why it stood out to me. If you don't have any issue with that, we just have different expectations for what AT and other conservative blogs usually report. No problem.
By the way, I will say that if you don't check the sourced article on Gateway Pundit, you're going to wind up with egg on your face on occasion. They tend to be sloppier than AT.
You seem to want them to report from a liberal angle. Now that’s spin. Never mind (and with the plethora of utterly fake news out there) lending credibility to “sources”.
Omitting “sources” from one’s blog post is not an “aberration”.
Do not talk to, with, at or about any of these mentally disturbed people if you’re in Norway. Ignore them. Then they’ll make THAT a violation!
ALL FOUR of my grandparents are rolling in their graves.
